Sarigerme which is really the right place for investment at the moment due to developments in the area.

• The Turkish Government has announced that the area is a Tourism Development Area. This means there will be lots of development in the area from Golf courses to marinas and many more hotels.

• Dogus companies are proposing new marina for 650 ships in Dalaman so this will boost tourist volumes

  In 1996, a land of 82.000 m2, next to a golf course, adequate for 1,000 bedded hotel was leased from the government for 49 years to construct a 1st class holiday village in Muğla/Dalaman-Sarıgerme. Martı Group plans to raise its total capacity to 3,500 beds after the completion of its Sarýgerme facilities in 2007. This is expected to bring additional €10 Million each year as sales revenue. The charming Sarigerme area has been serving the international markets since mid 1980s with hotels of foreign and local chains.
         
  The site is only 15 minutes from Dalaman International Airport. Furthermore, Dalaman was announced as a new travel destination by the Turkish government in 2004. The group is in the process of negotiating loan opportunities with the foreign investors and targeting a capacity of 6000 beds in the near future

• Dalaman International airport which was built in 1983 has been expanded. A new terminal has been opened

• The distance from Dalaman airport to the other resorts like Gocek,Fethiye,Hisaronu and Oludeniz is now a lot shorter with the new Gocek tunnel which was completed in July
